I'm going on an adventure and I'm really excited about it.
14 cities in 4 weeks.
As you all know (new readers, you'll catch on pretty quick), I love to travel. When I'm not traveling, I'm simply planning my next adventure. This time I am going on a month-long road trip across the USA with the radest of chicks (aka, my partner in crime/ best friend: Bex). You'll be seeing a lot of us together soon.
Bex and I met in London, where we were both long-term tourists/ inhabitants of the city at that time. We ended up doing everything together and swore we would continue to travel with one another in the future. Sometimes we laugh about how we became friends because the whole thing was weird and ironic yet wonderful. In short, we were in conversation only to realize we were unknowingly both about to leave for the British Museum to see the same gallery, so naturally we went together, and on our journey her Star Wars ringtone went off and then at that very moment we knew it was true love. We have been inseparable ever since.
I will start my journey out of Boston and to Houston in just a few days, where I will meet Bex (I love reunions). Together we will take off for LA with numerous cities to see along the way, then return to Houston on a different route to see even more. I will be trying my gosh darn hardest to blog from every city I stop at, even if this means a blog post a day, with pictures and updates.
For this particular journey I decided I wanted to curate a book-- a photo-documentary. It is going to be a classified as a journey through the modern wild west, juxtaposing the elements of old style-imagery with modern subjects.
